Pip holding a sweet rose by Pine Lake
Pip is a cute little fox. He lives in a cozy home by tall pine trees.
One sunny morning, Pip woke up with a big smile.
"Today is my friend Jude's birthday!" Pip said with hope.
Jude is a cute and gentle mule.
Pip wanted to make a sweet surprise for Jude.
"I will bake a big round cake!" said Pip.
Pip took a bowl and a huge spoon. He made the cake in time.
Pip got on his red bike. He rode down the path to Pine Lake.
At the lake, the bright sun made the blue water shine.
Pip saw a sweet red rose by the gate. He picked the rose for Jude.
"Look, Pip!" called Jude the mule with a happy wave.
"Happy birthday, Jude! I made a cake and picked a rose for you," smiled Pip.
Jude took a huge bite. "This cake is so sweet! You are the best friend ever!"
The two friends flew a tall kite by the lake until it was time to go home.
It was a fine day at Pine Lake!
