Princess Lily and the Starlight Unicorn

Self-Reading: ★ ★ ★

Princess Lily lived in a royal castle home with tall stone walls. She loved to wear her fine pink cape and a shiny silver crown. One sunny morning, Lily saw bright green vines dancing by the castle wall. Hidden behind the vines was a tiny golden gate.

"Where does this gate go?" whispered Lily with curiosity. She gave the gate a gentle push and stepped inside. Lily gave a happy smile with wide eyes. She had found a huge secret fairy garden!

Along a smooth stone path, sweet pink roses opened up to greet the warm sun. Beautiful blue butterflies flew in the soft breeze. Lily held a magic flute made of shining gold. She loved to play sweet notes for the singing birds.

Lily walked down the path until she came to a quiet, sparkling lake. The water had a bright shine like fallen stars. Suddenly, Lily heard a soft, sad sound. Someone was weeping behind a wild rose bush!

"Do not be afraid," said brave Lily in a gentle voice. "You are safe with me. Please do not hide."

A cute baby unicorn peeked out from behind the green rose leaves! Her coat was pure white, and she had a shiny silver horn that had a bright shine like a little star. Around her neck was a tiny tag that read Star.

Star the Baby Unicorn

"Hello, sweet friend," Lily said with a warm smile. "Why are you weeping alone?"

Star tapped her hoof on a flat stone. She looked across the wide lake and gave a soft, lonely cry. Star had wandered far from home and could not cross the deep water to get back to her family.

"Do not lose hope," Princess Lily said kindly. "When a friend is lost, we must lend a helping hand."

Lily lifted her golden flute and played a sweet, brave tune. The notes danced like magic bubbles over the water. A gentle breeze blew, and the lake water parted to make a safe path of smooth white stones!

Star gave a joyful neigh and trotted happily beside Lily. Together, they walked safely across the lake into the enchanted pine woods. There stood Star's mother, the majestic Queen Unicorn!

Queen Unicorn touched Lily's hand and gave her a glowing crystal rose that would never fade. "True magic," said Queen Unicorn softly, "is not found in golden flutes or crowns. True magic is the kindness and bravery you show to help someone who is lost."

Lily smiled as she walked home. She knew that helping others with a gentle heart brings the greatest joy of all.

🌟 The Story's Moral: True magic is found in kindness and courage. When you help someone who is lost or afraid, you bring light to the world and make a true friend forever!
