Lesson 12

• Length: Compare objects using longer than, shorter than, or as long as.
• Height: Compare standing objects: taller than or shorter than.
• Non-Standard Units: Measure using equal paper clips 📎 or counting cubes 🟩 without gaps!
• Distance: How far apart things are (nearer / closer vs. farther).

🔢 Lesson 14: Place Value

Tens & Ones

• In a 2-digit number up to 100:
  → Left digit is in the Tens place.
  → Right digit is in the Ones place.
• Example (47):
  • 4 is in the Tens place → Value = 40 (4 tens)
  • 7 is in the Ones place → Value = 7 (7 ones)
• Expanded Form: 47 = 40 + 7 (4 tens + 7 ones)

⚖️ Lesson 15: Comparing Up to 100

Relational Signs

• Greater Than (>): Open mouth eats bigger number (68 > 42).
• Less Than (<): Small point aims at smaller number (25 < 53).
• Equal To (=): Same value on both sides (70 = 70).
• Ordering Numbers:
• Least to Greatest: Smallest to largest (14, 29, 65)
• Greatest to Least: Largest to smallest (81, 50, 19)

🐇 Lesson 16: Skip Counting

Number Tracks

• Skip Count by 2s: Count pairs: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20...
• Skip Count by 5s: Ends in 5 or 0: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40...
• Skip Count by 10s: Count bundles: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100!
